Did the Greek god of time, Kronos, once walk the lands of Romania?
According to the book The Secret Parchment written by Radu Cinamar, a startling archaeological discovery in the Șureanu Mountains suggests a forgotten legacy—one that could rewrite ancient mythologies and our understanding of the sacred geography of Europe.
An Enigmatic Golden Hall Discovered in the 1990s
During archaeological excavations in the 1990s, a monumental hall was uncovered deep within the Șureanu Massif in Romania. The room, shaped like a massive dome, housed seven colossal thrones with backrests towering over two meters high, arranged around a majestic central table. The oversized scale of the furniture led researchers to believe that the beings who once sat there were of extraordinary stature—possibly giants or divine entities.
Behind six of the seven thrones stood massive golden panels, each approximately 10 meters tall, engraved with text in an unknown language. But it was the seventh throne that stood apart. Behind it, archaeologists found a carved symbol of a radiant sun, its rays emanating outward in a design that seemed to pulse with mystical energy.
Everything Was Made of Solid Gold
The entire chamber—including the thrones, the table, and the walls—was constructed from pure gold. This astonishing craftsmanship gave the place an aura of divinity, as if it were a sacred throne room of ancient gods.
Deeper into the mountain, a second, smaller golden chamber was discovered. Within this space stood a massive golden bed, inscribed with a puzzling text:
KR – IO; SAL-MOȘ, AICI ESTE VEȘNIC, LUMILE SE ÎMPREUNĂ
Translated from a mysterious language that resembled Egyptian hieroglyphs, the message was sent for analysis to a French institute. The result stunned the researchers.
The Message from Kronos
The inscription was decoded as:
“I, Kronos, the ancient god, am here eternally. The worlds merge.”
This inscription leads us to believe that Kronos – the god of time in Greek mythology – was not just a mythological figure, but a powerful being who lived in the golden halls deep in the Sureanu Mountains in Romania and not in Greece.
Is Șureanu the True Mount Olympus?
This discovery challenges the long-standing belief that Mount Olympus in Greece was the home of the gods. Could it be that Mount Șureanu is the real, ancient Olympus, hidden for centuries beneath layers of myth and secrecy? The evidence suggests that the divine presence of Kronos may have extended far beyond the boundaries of Greece.
As interest grows, the Șureanu Massif could become one of the most important spiritual and historical sites in Eastern Europe, drawing the attention of scholars, mystics, and curious travelers alike.
